How to win at the sport of business by Mark Cuban
So the picture above is how I hope you respond seeing that I am writing again. Ha ha.
Sometimes in business, the thing you love to do is not always the thing you have to do.
Does that seem like I’m being a little too vague?
Sorry about that. For me, I love to write but if you regularly follow my website (blog, whatever you choose to call it), you will easily notice that I haven’t been writing very much lately…or have I?
Okay, I’m just joking around because I’m happy to finally put some new, fresh words and thoughts on my website.
Perhaps, I’m not joking completely because I have been writing a lot…just not exactly always on the website. You may realize that I have created a list of 25+ business resources. I have used and still use most of these resources. I just finally decided it is easier for my readers to get all that information in one place. Just like I did with the Recommended Reading List. Now you have two places you can go to learn a lot about business and life. Plus, there are quite a few free resources on the list. No matter where you are in business, these resources could help you. Especially if you are stuck in your business and looking for a way to move forward, you may just find what you are looking for on the resource list or the recommended reading list. It’s definitely worth a try.
How to win at the sport of business review
So lately, I’ve been reading a new book called How to win at the sport of business by Mark Cuban. I am a fan of Mark Cuban from Shark Tank and what he has been able to accomplish. So when I watched his interview with Tai Lopez, the creator of 67 Steps, I decided to read Mark’s book. Like I said, I’m a fan so I had high expectations for this book. Don’t worry, I’m not going to talk bad about his book. I think I was looking for golden nuggets from a billionaire when I started the book but it started with a bit of his backstory which was interesting since I’m a tech guy. It was interesting to hear what his life was like as he started in business. But where are the golden nuggets? That’s what I was thinking. Oh, if you don’t know, I prefer audio books because I can complete them faster and they are good during commutes. Well, today, the book got to some golden nuggets and they were very good and deep nuggets. At least for me. Sometimes there are more nuggets but you don’t always get them until you are ready to really hear them. Sometimes, you need to read a book a few times. I know there are some books on my reading list I have read many, many times. And each time, it was worth it. Really, when you invest in a book, all you need to learn is one thing and that can make the investment worthwhile. Especially, if you can use the knowledge for years and years.
So, should you buy How to win at the sport of business by Mark Cuban? Sure! It is a book from a billionaire. If you have ambitions of being successful, wouldn’t you want to learn from a billionaire? It really is an interesting book and it gives you more insight into the life and mind of Mark Cuban. I haven’t finished the book yet but I feel this is the start of a series of books from Mark Cuban. We’ll see if I’m right.
